You're Not Invisible...
In this "Video" Kevin Young from the band Disciple talks about their song "Invisible" I love this part in the video where Kevin says...
Next time you feel down and out and think nobody cares, ask yourself what would Jesus say if you asked Him? How would He respond?

"To people who feel like nobody see's them, nobody hears them, that God says, I see you. I hear you. Even if you're invisible to the rest of the world, you're not invisible to me." -Kevin Young

Love Wins
"But I tell you who hear me; Love your enemies, do good for those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to others as you would have them do to you." -Luke 6:27-31
Pretty simple right? I mean, seems pretty easy to go out there and love your enemy and do good to them at the same time right? And lets not forget how easy it would be to bless the ones who are cursing at you. "I hope you can hear my sarcasm"...
Would you really pray (good) for someone if they mistreated you? If someone punches or hits you would you turn and walk away or would you hit them back? Do you always help people when they ask or do you come up with an excuse to get out of it? Lets say an unfourtunate person on the corner of a freeway overpass asking for a meal, have you ever offered up your lunch to them knowing that you could get through the day only to get to your fridge later and eat anything you wanted? Or do you look the other way and hope that the red light that you stopped at turns green real fast? Have you ever loaned money to someone and never got it back? Are you the type that will go after that person sopranos style and get what belongs to you? Or will you leave it in Gods hands that whatever happens with that money it was meant to be and hopefully it helps the person in the long run, instead of ruining a friendship? I would hope money wouldn't drive you to such extremes...Not all of these scenarios might be your expierience, maybe not even one concerns you. But if you are one of the people reading this that can see your actions in any of these scenarios, I would suggest that you remember that Jesus wants us to follow His example and help each other out when the opportunies arise, will you rise?
- How would you feel if everyone treated you the way you treat others? Just saying...
-Steve (aXiom)"Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." -Romans 12:21

I, Will Hold On Hope
When I listen to this song, I think of this Word from 1Peter 1:3-9.
"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, 5 who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. 6 In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. 7 These have come so that the proven genuineness of your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. 8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9 for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls."

Supporting The Show
The time has come. aXiom will need to dust off the metal detectors and make our way to the superstition mountains to find the famous Goldmine that is out there somewhere. We will get our pick axes, our strainers and our filters. OK, so maybe we aren't really going to go in search for gold as they did in the gold rush. Rather, we are going to be cancelled if we can't get a sponsorship so, we are going to throw this out there...
"aXiom" a long with "90.7FM The Goldmine" is looking for station sponsors! We need local businesses that want to put there name behind this station and/or show and support our goal of becoming a bigger and better radio station in the valley! Ask about our "Summer Prize Paks" and this could be a great opportunity for small businesses in the valley to get some exposure! If you have a product or business that you want to see grow, email us today at (axiomshow@gmail.com) or www.facebook.com/axiomshow
In case you didn't notice 90.7FM is located at the "East Valley Institute of Technology" in Mesa, AZ. This would bring exposure to your business from valley high schools, to colleges along with all the other trades E.V.I.T has to offer. Don't pass up this once in a lifetime opportunity to expand, at affordable rates!

Slowing Down
Honestly,
Just the other day, I saw a homeless guy on the off ramp of the freeway. The guy didn't seem to be holding any particular sign trying to get money, food, or even a ride anywhere. In what seemed like a split second, I thought to myself "hey, I have one more bottle of water in my cooler!" I felt the Lord tug my heart to give the guy the last water I had. After all, I was only 2 mins away from home. I like to think I would of given it to him if I was 6hrs away or 30 seconds away from home... The guy got up from his corner and walked toward my truck. As he arrived at my door I said "This is all I really have man, but I sure hope it helps!" And handed him the water. He looks at me with a huge smile and in a chuckle says, "It's funny I just thought to myself, dam I'm thirsty!" I laughed as did he, and I expressed that God loved him and we both parted ways.
It's this type of reaching out that I have been missing lately. And I'm glad the events leading up to that moment happened or I would of missed the best part of my day! I would of never been at that point in time if the things that had happened before that meeting never came to be. I forgot to mention, I drive auto parts around town all day to various companies. I had a last minute run out to Queen Creek and I live on the border of Tempe/Mesa. So you could see my dilemma. The worst part about it was, after I traveled 60-70 miles out of my way to deliver the part(s) to Queen Creek the guy that ordered the parts said that he just cancelled the order. It's crazy to think if God wanted me at that place at that exact time, I must have been pretty far ahead of myself...

Let's Get 20,000 "LIKES"
Here's the deal. We have setup this "Facebook Page" to try and hear more Axiom music on the station we broadcast from. We are currently broadcasting at 90.7FM (KVIT) on Sunday mornings at 8a (You can listen here) If you "like" what you hear on the show (Music) please go to this page and click the "Like" button if you would like to hear the music in the daily rotation on the station. Once we reach 20,000 "Likes" the music (TOP40) will be placed into the daily rotation. We understand this may take some time, it may take years! But with your help we could launch this campaign to get Axiom Music played on a Top40 station sooner than that! If everyone got together to spread the word, this could knock down the years into a few months and we could be listening to such artists as...
TobyMac, Skillet, BarlowGirl, Anberlin, Switchfoot, Among The Thirsty, Stellar Kart, Addison Road, Disciple, DC Talk, Newsboys, Kutless, Natalie Grant, Chris Tomlin, Manafest, Lecrae, NeedtoBreath, Thousand Foot Krutch, Seventh Day Slumber, And Many More on 90.7FM

Soul Surfing 5.0
I had the luxury of seeing a "Sneak Peak" of the new movie "Soul Surfer" this past week. The movie is based on the true events that took place in Bethany Hamilton's life. If you haven't heard of Bethany, she is the pro surfer that had her arm bitten off by a shark and she survived to tell her amazing story of recovery... Bethany's part is played by actress Anna Sophia Robb who does an outstanding performance, as well as Helen Hunt (Mother) Lorraine Nicholson (Best Friend), Carrie Underwood (Youth Leader), and Dennis Quaid (Father). All these acts bring a stellar performance to the table. If you weren't planning on seeing this movie I urge you to re-think you decision, this movie will reveal things to your soul you have buried for far too long! If there can be anything to take away from this movie it would be the selfless attitude expressed by the "Soul Surfer" and the passion to achieve the impossible through the strength the Lord provides.
