Foster The People
"If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it. What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what he has done." -Jesus Christ
Whenever I listen to this song "I Would Do Anything For You" from Foster The People, this scripture (above) comes to mind. The thing is, I like to listen to music, all types of music and try and see God in the songs, whenever possible. I try and keep myself surrounded by uplifting and positive music, that is why the Axiom Show is mostly Christian music. Every once and while you will hear a secular song/band on the show. The reason is not because they are Christians, it is because the song in my mind has something to do with God. So if you find yourself asking why this or that song is on the show, say a little prayer and ask God to show you the reason and how it might relate to God himself...
‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’-Jeremiah 33:3
